The Story of the USS Kaimiloa
Historian Cesar A. Becerra is in the final phase of publishing a new book and a potential large scale art project about the epic journey of a large ship, the USS Kaimiloa, that sailed the South Seas with Miami’s 3rd City Clerk, the magnanimous and mysterious Medford Ross Kellum in 1924/25. Release Date: September 2024
Biscayne Bay
Puppet Show
Join Mr Man-a-tee, Sharky and the rest of the gang as they meet up with Pinky, a swatch from Christo's surrounded pink islands to tell the tale of our natural resources. Originally created for The Marjory Stoneman Douglas Biscayne Nature Center, this puppet show is ready to perform for school groups and events.
Orange Blossom 2.0
Historian Cesar Becerra's ongoing efforts to defend Mary Brickell's unsung role in the birth of Miami, which has long been forgotten but is now slowly being recognized. He ensures Mary Brickell is recognized through his talks and tours, and he hopes to one day commemorate her contributions to the city with an official dedication event.
